Yin-Si works alongside veteran Daisy Gilbert at the front desk, and theirs are the first faces you see when you come into the office. “As part of client services, I get to be one of the first people that all our clients interact with,” Yin-Si said. “That means I have the privilege of helping to answer questions, solve problems, and schedule appointments.” She said she enjoys both the people she works with and the clients she serves. “I love that no one is afraid to have fun with their job,” she said. “All the people here, including clients, are great to work with and I like that every day is different.” When she’s not in the office, Yin-Si enjoys cooking and designing and sewing costumes and clothes. Get to know Yin-Si better: What was you first job: A cook at a pizza place Describe your most memorable vacation: Two years ago, I visited Washington with a friend. We landed in Seattle, then drove a couple hours to the town from the Twilight books, and even went hiking in the rainforest. The nature there was absolutely gorgeous. In her log career with the growing company, Kris gradually has assumed increased responsibilities as the client services support representative. Kris works behind the scenes smoothly coordinating both new and current accounts, tracking transfer transactions, troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise from account transfers. She graduated from St. Norbert College with a BA in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and spent her early career as an auditor with Valley BanCorporation, a stock broker with a local Fox Valley firm and as an accountant with KimCentral Credit Union. Hers is the first face you see when you come to the office, and the primary voice you hear when you call with questions or to schedule an appointment. In addition to answering phones, helping with general information and scheduling appointments, Daisy works as a sub-advisor, taking notes in client meetings and processing paperwork. She and her husband Cory are parents of four children, and grandparents to one. Get to know Daisy better: What was you first job: My first job was working on my parent’s dairy farm. Describe your most memorable vacation: Most memorable vacation is our vacation to Florida in 2019, exploring through the Everglades and the Florida Keys. We visited many beaches, searched for shells, took a tour to see dolphins (no luck), Airboat ride in the Everglades spotting gators, soaked up lots of sun, checked out Duval Street, visited a turtle hospital, watched many beautiful sunsets, enjoyed lots of delicious food and made lots of great memories. Coffee or tea: I love both! I enjoy starting my day with a cup or two of coffee and ending my day with a relaxing Chamomile tea. Cat or dog: I have 3 rescued cats and 1 dog. Best book you ever read: Best books ever read are all the children’s books I have read over the last 20+ years. 😊 What is your favorite season: My favorite season is SUMMER! I love the hot humid days and nights summer brings, spending hours outside with activities and watching seedlings grow to blooms and fruitful plants.
Beth Gorr
A graduate of Fox Valley Technical College, where she earned an associate’s degree in accounting, Beth continues to be the versatile and knowledgeable heart of the Winch Financial client services department. She tracks and handles all Required Minimum Distributions, work as a sub-advisor in client meetings, and helps clients complete necessary paperwork. Beth and her husband Scott are raising six children. Get to know Beth better: First Job: I baby sat for a few families and, once I turned 16, I worked at Shopko in the jewelry department. Most memorable vacation: Trip to Disneyland with my parents, sister and brothers when I was about 14 years old. Coffee or Tea: Coffee Dog or cat: Cats but I’m allergic.
