Tanya began working with Winch Financial in a remote business development role, which culminated in her gaining her registered investment advisor representative designation. Along with Meghan, she spearheaded a recent exterior renovation that earned Winch Financial the Appleton Northside Business Association Image Award. Tanya also heads up the company’s very active charitable donation program. Tanya holds a BA in Communication from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Outside the office, Tanya and her husband Doug, an IT professional, are professional musicians who play in an Austin-based band. Get to know Tanya better: First Job: I rode my bike to Ferron’s menswear on College Ave and vacuumed, dusted and cleaned the bathroom. Most memorable vacation: Our 2018 trip to Scotland, which included multiple days in the delightfully charming city of Edinburgh.  I was not expecting to love Scotland as much as I do.  Hoping to visit again very soon. Coffee or Tea: Both and a lot of them. My mugs are approximately the size of kiddie backyard pools. Dog or cat: Two of the most human (and slightly spoiled) dogs in Texas.  Cats not allowed due to allergies, although I like cats and wish I could snuggle them. Best book you ever read: Tie between East of Eden and Cutting for Stone but the book I read the most often is The Bible. Favorite season: Summer in Wisconsin. Spring in Austin.
